No. The current release is local-first and works with manually entered goals, targets, notes, and progress. It does not connect to live bank accounts.
Is ShiftStack financial advice?
No. ShiftStack is an educational planning and tracking tool. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, employment, or clinical advice. You remain responsible for your own money decisions.
Do I need an account?
No. The current release does not require account creation or sign-in. Your goals and app preferences stay on your device.
Where is my data stored?
Goals, targets, steps, notes, manually entered progress, notification preferences, and demo-only planning items are stored on your device using Apple platform storage. See the ShiftStack Privacy Policy for details.
How do subscriptions work?
If subscriptions are offered, they are handled by Apple through your App Store account. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the iOS Settings app under your Apple ID account settings.
Does the app include AI coaching?
Public release builds use production-safe planning language and local app logic unless a future version adds a secure hosted coaching service. If off-device coaching is added later, the app's privacy policy and App Store privacy details must be updated before that release.
Does ShiftStack support Apple Watch?
Yes. When paired with Apple Watch, ShiftStack can show a compact progress snapshot and active steps from the iPhone app.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes ShiftStack's local app data from your device. If a future version adds accounts or cloud sync, deletion instructions will be updated before that release.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Apple Watch support requires a paired Apple Watch.
